We C.A.R.E.! How GreenEarth's 7-Step Sales Process Works

We C.A.R.E.! How The GreenEarth Sales Process WorksHave you ever met with a salesperson and quickly realized that the person is speaking a different language? Or encountered a salesperson who tried to sell you something you didn’t want? What about a salesperson that did all the talking and didn’t care to listen to what you wanted? In our experience, most people have.

If you’ve been subjected to these types of salespeople, you know the interactions you’ve had with them are a waste of everyone’s time.

GreenEarth Landscape Services aims to be different: Our sales team follows a seven-step process that ensures our customers:

  • Are a good fit for our products and services
  • Are educated early on how our services are performed
  • Communicate thoroughly to us what their wants and needs are
  • Are consistently satisfied with our service and final product

Here’s a look at our seven-step sales process.

Step 1: Identification & Qualification

This is our initial contact with the potential customer. During this step our sales reps will ask questions of the potential customer to try and determine their goals.

This is also where we try to identify whether or not the potential customer is a good fit for our products or services. Yes, sometimes a potential customer will not be a good fit for us, whether because of budget, time constraints, or them wanting a product or service we just do not offer.

If GreenEarth cannot fulfill your goals, we will do our best to recommend someone who may be able to.

Step 2: Education

During this step, our sales reps educate our prospective clients on the value of our company and the services we offer. We sell a customer experience — not just a product or service.

We want to ensure that you value this experience and understand how it sets us apart from other contractors.

Step 3: Concept Verification

This is where we work to verify that the concepts we put together are going to meet your goals.

This happens by exchanging ideas, taking measurements, doing site surveys, and making decisions specific to the product and/or service.

Step 4: Proposal

We C.A.R.E.! How The GreenEarth Sales Process WorksToo many of our competitors seem to begin their sales process here — for us, it’s halfway through our sales process. This is where we formalize the results of the verification stage on paper.

We’ll provide you a professional summary of your goals as well as the solution we’ve discussed, in addition to references, pricing and the ongoing benefits you will receive as a GreenEarth customer.

Step 5: Agreement

Satisfied with our proposal? A GreenEarth sales rep will present you with an agreement to begin work.

Our contract communicates to you the work that will be performed, when we’ll start working, how much it will cost, and options and customer rights under the agreement.

Step 6: Kick Off

This is the stage where the customer gets to meet the Manager that will ensure the purchased product and/or service gets completed to the specifications of the agreement. It is a transition from the sales team to the operations team.

GreenEarth’s operation manager will communicate the details of the work to be performed and remain in contact throughout the project.

Step 7: Proactive Evaluation

We C.A.R.E.! How The GreenEarth Sales Process WorksDuring your project, your sales rep or operation manager will perform a C.A.R.E. call with our customers. C.A.R.E. is acronym that means Customer Assurance Review Evaluation — it’s important that we follow up with you to ensure we are exceeding your expectations and completing the work we agreed to do for you.

Let GreenEarth Help You

As you can see, the main goal of our sales process is to keep our customers and sales reps on the same page. It also ensures we deliver everything we agreed on, and exceed your expectations.
